Just spent 70bucks to make a new simple black specs. Wtf right?
Haven't even earn money. But while guess this is worth it.
Because next time i'll continue to work at the hotel so having a simple black specs will be better. :)

PS : Why all the guests ask if I am a Singaporean?

Okay so work today was quite alright and I am feeling totally exhausted.
I wanna blog now because I am happy I served a table of TEACHERS today!
They were so encouraging and try to talk to me : '' you're doing very well,relax ''
'' sec 4 this year? I am sure you can make it to sec 5! ''
'' Oh from yuying? We just had a match yesterday with your school! ''
'' You're lucky to serve us teachers, beside the table is actually all principals!''
'' Better do well ah, or we go tell your principal '' and all of them started laughing. Haha.
And they all even taught me how to serve some of the dishes.
Always giving me motivation to do well because they know I am first day today.
Yeah I told them I was VERY nervous.
And of course, I love the way they speak and everything.
Both the Chinese and English emcees were from my table too!
Yes first day definitely will make mistakes and sometimes we just need someone to give us some space to improve.
I am glad I still ( or best, don't ) meet any fussy guests.
The teachers were nice people, really :)


And since today is the first day, we need to gather at the kitchen for briefing.
Omg scary, the manager is like Mr Danny, just 10times more fierce than him.
Totally like school, attire must be proper, discipline must be there, hair long he'll send you to the nearby salon to cut.
Or worst, he immediately send you home.
Thankfully I cut my nails today in the morning, they got check nails too!
My body was very stiff during briefing, didn't dare to talk either. I was just freaking nervous and scared.
And I have to change my specs to like all black, simple frame but I dont wanna waste money anymore!
But never mind, I will get it change soon. Finding the cheapest frame .
So that next time when I wanna work at this hotel again(I think I will) then I have simple black specs.
Rather spend the money now than later right.
If only i dare to wear contact lense.


And just now was seriously killing me. My heart skip a beat.
I am still new to the hotel, and then its time for us to queue behind the door to prepare for the walk-in-ceremony.
You know like the whole ballroom will be dark when we, the waiter have to serve the first dish.
I was late and running after getting the dish, I was so afraid and panicked because I couldn't find the place!
Called for assistance and I was just on time. Thanks to the guy who lead me to the ballroom from the kitchen.
Thank god for that by the time I reached there its just time to serve the dishes. Omg!!!!!!!


I will persevere till end of dec, get my pay, off to study, work again during vacation :)
I willllll. God just give me some inner strength.

A short update before I head to bed.
Went out with leow yesterday, make a trip to peninsular and bugis street(again) and plaza singapura.
Okay we practically just walked around this few common places.
Bought collar shirt at 20, batman tee at 15. Please Jiahao,don't spend anymore!
That time went out with amelia and fel, I bought backpack at 12, bermudas at 15.
Oh and that reminds me of AMELIA KANG,YOU STILL OWE ME 5DOLLARS FOR THE BREAD.Haha!
When going out with meiqi and angie, I spent most of my money on food!
More over, I am ordering 4 shirts from threadless through sprees so it definitely gonna cost a bomb
But cheaper than original price because its having christmas sales!
When am I gonna stop spending money and start saving instead?
I still have a list of things to buy, if only I can buy it within one day. I will be on the seventh heaven.
I seriously don't mind travelling to different places to get all my things at one go.
Like who will if you have $100000000000 right?
Continue to daydream.



On a random note, I will find 1 day to clear all my N level study notes,textbooks which are really messy.
Immediately threw it aside once I finish any particular subject paper on the day itself.
Its time to re-arrange it neatly!
At the same time I wanna clear my wardrobe and perhaps sell my shirts online because its occupying space!


Coming up next we will go to science center with leow and the rest! :)
Okay time to sleep and work from thurs-sun at 5-11pm. Hope eveything will be good.

Hotel training 2pm-10pm unpaid!
We still got work because personally for my table, the waiter went like missing and didn't turn up.
Thus other waiters had to serve my table and they were all really busy,so me and taiyang had to help out too.
We were very exhausted after work ends, yeah I treat it as work with no pay.
But we, the trainees were supposed to observe but ended up working.


Briefly description of the day :
1. self-introduction and a presentation of do's and don'ts.
2. demonstration of how to use one folk and spoon as thongs and some dining etiquette
3. walked around the hotel
4. get changed with their quite smart uniform, long pants, black shoes and socks
5. dinner
6. wedding starts - time to get busy!


After all, it was my first experience serving drinks and having to bring the cutlery to the kitchen.
Having to refill the Chinese tea and something happened which I find it damn funny.
The people there was alright for me, it just takes more time to get to know each other.
Nigel was v.funny, the way he speaks and action makes me and taiyang laugh!


I like my table 65 guests, they were very enthusiastic, high and it just makes the whole atmosphere very happening.
They never fails to joke and laugh loudly and they even joke with me lah! Haha.
And whats more enjoyable is the couple's video in the morning is v.creative.
I hope to meet more guests like this and not the fussy ones, thank god yesterday was quite smooth-sailing.


The managers were nice people I guess?
And I need to have more confidence in myself to be able to serve the guests.


Hopefully they'll not call me carry any heavy things because I have no strength and IS severely underweight.
Like the super big table to the ballroom, NO! lol.
Start work this coming Thurs-Sun, 5pm-11pm.
Omg actually I am quite scared and afraid because this time round.
Is ME myself personally have to serve one table, means there will be NO other people helping me.
Plus how to use 2 spoon(actually is one spoon,one folk but i prefer spoon instead) to grab the food man?
And where to get the plates? okay and still got a lot of things i'm unsure of. -.-
Must practise! I hope I'll not make any mistake.
I hope I can enjoy this work because after all, its better than working at a.c!


I personally thinks that a.c HR department their management is not fast and efficient at all.
Till now they still haven't transfer my pay to me.
I must go to any a.c outlet and pass my form to them, I don't care they better pay me!
Keep dragging,delaying,the manager always not in the office.
I got her mobile number and gave her a call today.

And lastly, MY PARENTS FOUND THE I/C INSIDE MY BAG!
My dad told me its stick to one of the plastic wrapper in the book, and I have no idea why my i/c ended up there.
I nearly want to replace it soon but now since its found, I am v.happy!
Money can be saved, which means I am gonna save even more $$ and spent it at a later date.
Haha, can you imagine if i replace it already then I found my i/c? Phew!

But then AMELIAKANGJIZHI is going with me and Taiyang too! I got companion.
After this will start working which means money will be rolling in!
Cannot use nets and touch my bank account, no more.
I already list out the names of the people whom I wanna meet during the holidays.
Hopefully, i'll have the time to meet them when I start work.
Yes, holidays is really good from 12October(my last POA paper) all the way till next year!
Totally stress free.
So I wanna make full use of the time to play hard + work for fun + earn some cash to spend during the holidays.
I don't want to just work and is like lifeless lor,so what if you have money?
Imagine if you work full time, from morning till night till the end of this year.
Thats really scary =/

A day out with Meiqi, Angie, Taiyang :)


Wilson left us after awhile at bishan.(Meiqi I got mention his name here okay!)
Just waked around bugis street,omg so many nice tees!
Angie bought a belt, Meiqi met a person to pass her txtbk - she sold it off at ebay and bought earings,rose hairband and Taiyang bought shoes.
Me? My money was all spent on fooooood. Seriously I love eating.
We left bugis and went to tampines mall to walk around,all of our legs were tiring.
Taiyang found a pinkie dress and bought it for her prom night.
This is the first time she wear this kind of tube dress for all of us to see! haha.
It happens like maybe 0 out of 10 times!
She never fails to say herself fat and still wanted to buy a blazer to cover her arms.
But me and Meiqi disagree to buy it or else it will ruin the beauty/design of the dress.
Anyway, we took many pictures especially me and Meiqi who cam-whore a lot.
My camera had no battery because I didn't charge if not more pics will be taken.


Its been really long since I last went out with Meiqi and chatted with her so much!
More outings like this please.

I finally meet up with Taiyang and Angie today.
Their O level finally ended which means more meet-ups to come!
Its great to just meet up with best friends once again after such a long time.
Seriously, everyone is busy with their national exam this year so we have got very less time for each other.
While this is random but i think both of them 越来越有女人味了.
Angie put on a thin make up and this is the first time I took photo with Taiyang's long hair.


Okay so we met at 12.30pm in the noon and headed to Changi Airport Terminal 3 for fun.
Yes we just went there to chill around and to chat.
Bus 53 reminds me of the days I went Changi Airport to study and prepare for N level.
And also to class chalet at pasir ris.


Started off having opera diva at mac cafe while angie had add value meal instead.
Had a good laugh and joke around, keep taking pictures which look about the same.
End off the day with crispy kaya butter toast at ya kun with extra kaya I love.
After which accompanied sis to Hougang Mall and saw peishan,glenn and i-forget-the-name from 4D.
Haha, realised these few days I keep meeting people I know which is good!


A simple day with great companion. :)

PS : I love my sony camera now because I realised some of the new functions and the uses of this camera.
I want to take better pictures next time.
